At Julia’s first meeting with this hip, young Ho-Ho-Kus mom of three, the client mentioned our 2019 showhouse design as her favorite from the City to Suburb portfolio. We immediately knew this would be a fun project! The couple hired us to furnish the front rooms of their beautiful classic home to add a modern edge. They wanted a dark and moody Dining Room to contrast the bright and airy Foyer, as well as a chic and cozy Living Room complete with a home office area. The couple loves modern art and lighting, and they were not afraid to take risks. We accomplished all of their goals with a mix of bespoke and family-friendly furnishings, sculptural lighting, and luxury finishes including grasscloth and a custom ceiling mural.
